Rafael Nadal won his seventh French Open title, topping Bjorn Borg's mark, in a string broken only by his loss to another Swede, Robin Soderling.
While some match ups are complex, today's conclusion of the rain-delayed match was extremely straight forward. Nadal won the baseline rallies when it was dry, Djokovic won the rallies when it was wet, because Nadal's topspin no longer bounced up high on him.
