ATP Schedule Complaints Wrong | Stich on BBC

Former top pro Michael Stich and Tennis.com both point out the hypocrisy of players complaining about long schedules, while they continue to play lucratic exhibitions.

Tennis.com: "four of the top Americans will be playing exhibitions in the coming days. Bob and Mike Bryan and Sam Querrey are playing a weekend long exhibition in Northern California, while the Bryans, Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish are playing an exhibition on Monday in Mobile, Alabama.".

Tennis Fines Seem Random

... Or, Swear in Serbian if You Don't Want to be Fined.

Serena Williams' fine from the US Open was only the third highest there.

Per WSJ: "Williams’s $2,000 fine is tied for the third largest at this year’s Open. Mike Bryan was fined $10,000 for putting his hand on an official and Philipp Petzschner was fined $3,500 for lobbing a ball in the direction of an official, according to the USTA".
